No freeview – no Problem

Having no Freeview signal is not the end of the World as Robert McNeice of Kinloch Hotel explains “We presented Airwave with a problem unique to areas of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. There is uncertainty of what quality of Freeview signal if any we will get when the digital switchover happens in our specific geographical location. We had consultants look into what our best options would be, but it was Airwave who had the knowledge and experience to present a plausible solution. Airwave rose to the challenge and installed a bespoke head-end that receives a Free-Sat signal then converts it to 20 digital channels on our existing network. This signal is distributed to fifty wall mounted LG 22” Hotel System LCD TV’s in our bedrooms and seven LG 37” Hotel System LCD TV’s desk mounted in our self catering suites. Choosing Airwave was a simple decision based on their industry experience. Our remote location has not proved a barrier to their engineers and we can confidently recommend them to anyone.”

Easter Deadline in Oban

“Having decided that we needed to upgrade our TVs in our accommodation, we contacted Airwave by email. Andrew Moss of Airwave contacted me early the next morning and arranged a meeting for the same day (how often does that happen). We had 4 weeks to go before Easter and we needed 53 TVs. Andrew didn’t fail us and by the afternoon we had struck a deal with a promise of delivery before Easter. They duly arrived in time and we could not be happier with the style and quality of the Sharp and Samsung Hotel LCDs which have gone down very well with the customers.” said Richard Shellcock, Owner of Tralee Bay Holidays, the five star holiday park in Oban.
